This review is not a personal opinion piece but a factual review of what Strength Asylum offers as a gym.

The gym is based in Stoke-on-Trent and was opened in 2012. It is now a 13500sqft gym with over 150 machines and if you click this link you can see how it developed from humble beginnings. The gym has a café/eating area, merchandise for sale along with the gym 4 rooms for the gym itself and has a dedicated leg room where some cardio equipment is located – take the tour. The flow of gym feels natural. The male changing rooms are not the largest in size and can be quite busy at peak times but most experienced members tend to come prepared. For visitors there is a locker system should you have a bag you wish to lock away.
The staff at the gym have a vast amount of experience in bodybuilding, strongman, powerlifting and general health and fitness and they can tailor personal training and coaching sessions to meet your individual needs.

The whole ethos of the gym is to share that experience and knowledge and to support the members achieve their aims and goals by offering additional services such as guest appearances and seminars with some of the largest stars in strength sports appearing – Rich Gaspari, Kai Greene and Eddie Hall to name a few. You can see what the upcoming events are.

Strength Asylum is kitted out with Hammer Strength and is one of the largest Hammer Strength and is one of their largest training centres. The website is a great source of information and you can click on muscle groups to see what equipment is available so you can plan your session. As you can imagine, with this being the home of Eddie Hall, it has an abundance of strongman equipment; everything from the atlas stones to frame carries to truck pulls to sandbags – check out the full list here.

Finally, Strength Asylum is only one of two IFBB Affiliated gyms in the UK allowing for potential bodybuilders a platform to progress in their career.
Overall this gym has everything you need to achieve you goals. Go give it a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Great to see the progression. Enjoying the reviews
